The standardization of architecture and interior design works encompasses the creation and application of specific guidelines and criteria to ensure consistency, safety, and quality across all projects.

This process maintains uniformity in design practices, construction methods, materials, and safety standards. It ensures that buildings and interior spaces meet established requirements, thereby enhancing the overall user experience.

The key components include:

  • Design Guidelines: Establishing aesthetic and functional criteria for architectural and interior elements.
  • Material Standards: Defining specifications for the quality and performance of the building materials.

These standards streamline the design and construction process, reduce errors, and ensure that all projects consistently

Design Approach

In this project, Bagan Desain has been assigned to develop the new buildings that involve:

  • Designing a station that meets the growing demand for passenger capacity.
  • Reflecting Cultural Heritage: Ensuring the new design respects and incorporates the initial character of the existing cultural heritage building

This balanced approach aims to provide a modern, functional station that honors the historical and cultural significance of the original structure.

Design Proceess

This project aims to accommodate the increasing number of passengers each year. The revitalization process includes adding facilities like air-conditioned waiting areas, escalators to new platforms, and face recognition technology for security. Additionally, there will be new buildings next to the station, expanding the area from 15,900 square meters to 20,000 square meters, while also enhancing this historical landmark.
