Design Approach

Due to the engineering issues identified by the Developer in the Prototype, Bagan Desain has been tasked with revisiting the design through the following actions:

• Re-working Coordination with Other Consultants
• Examining and Reviewing the Previous Design

Documents: Conducting a thorough review of existing design documents to identify and rectify any discrepancies or flaws.

• Producing Coordinated Construction
  Drawings: Generating comprehensive and accurate construction drawings that reflect the
  necessary adjustments and improvements.
• Involvement in Multi-Disciplinary Coordination:
  Engaging in coordinated efforts with various disciplines to ensure a holistic and well-integrated design solution.
• Site Coordination and Periodical Supervision.
  This detailed approach aims to effectively address the engineering challenges and ensure the successful advancement of the project

Design Proceess

This project aims to accommodate the increasing number of passengers each year. The revitalization process includes adding facilities like air-conditioned waiting areas, escalators to new platforms, and face recognition technology for security. Additionally, there will be new buildings next to the station, expanding the area from 15,900 square meters to 20,000 square meters, while also enhancing this historical landmark.
