Located in Konawe, Virtue Dragon Polytechnic shall be developed to be a new education center in the area, supporting the program of the client’s company. The client assigned Bagan to develop the design of initial building concept, including the interior and architectural layout of this building. The basic building mass and initial plan of the polytechnic were already decided before.

Design Approach

1. To study and research the design criteria for classrooms/facilities that metallurgy, civil, and electrical polytechnic. This is important to understand the function first, since the form of the building had already been decided by the masterplan design.
2. To study the built polytechnics in Indonesia as project references for the project, specifically for the layout and building program.
3. To research the local context of the area as part of a facade design study.
