Cibubur Residence

The impression of contrast is evident in the materials, elements, and geometry, while maintaining a consistent geometric language throughout the design. This approach creates a visual hierarchy and enhances the architectural character of the development. The upper levels are characterized by darker elements and metal materials, contributing to a modern and sleek appearance. In contrast, the lower levels feature columns that serve as distinctive design features, adding to the visual interest and structural integrity of the building. This deliberate use of contrasting materials and elements not only highlights different aspects of the design but also ensures a harmonious and cohesive overall aesthetic.

Design Approach

In this project, Bagan Desain has been assigned to develop the new buildings that involve:

• Designing a station that meets the growing demand for passenger capacity.
• Reflecting Cultural Heritage: Ensuring the new design respects and incorporates the initial character of the existing cultural heritage building

This balanced approach aims to provide a modern, functional station that honors the historical and cultural significance of the original structure.

Design Proceess

This project aims to accommodate the increasing number of passengers each year. The revitalization process includes adding facilities like air-conditioned waiting areas, escalators to new platforms, and face recognition technology for security. Additionally, there will be new buildings next to the station, expanding the area from 15,900 square meters to 20,000 square meters, while also enhancing this historical landmark.
